I have no idea why I am posting at this hour of the day, I was out the whole day and reached back home at around 10.15pm.
Today, my family and I went to my father's workplace in Tuas after service. The train journey from Expo all the way to Boon Lay was longggg. From there, we took bus 254 all the way to my father's workplace, somewhere near the western end of Singapore. His office was nice, he had a room for himself and his work, plus air-con and 'executive' toilet nearby. We stayed there for about 3 hours before we went back to Expo again, all thanks to Matt as he had to get a laptop for his schoolwork. The IT fair there was super crowded with people shouting here and there.
After a long time deciding on the right laptop, my family and I went to Changi Village for dinner. There was this new resturant there and we tried it out, and it turn out that the food and service there was super super fantastic and great. The resturant name was called 'Ubin First Stop', if I am not wrong. Hahas.
O yes, I kind of have a liking for oldie songs recently. It is kind of cheesey and geezey when I hear it, the beat is there and the lyrivs rythme. I am not sure if these are really oldie songs, but should be.....
Ending off with some oldie songs. Good night!!

Gonna make a very short post today. Nothing much to talk about what happened for the past few days, it has been either studying or tuition or watching 3 Huan Zhu Ge Ge series at home.
There was this scene in Huan Zhu Ge Ge 3 which is my favourite scene. The video may be a bit blur but don't mind!! This scene of the show is nice, showing my favourite two characters of the show in this scene
Here is a nice scene from Huan Zhu Ge Ge 3:

Red Cross Camp
Halo once again!!
It has been such a long time since I last blogged, because of my busy CCA schedule planning of programmes. But from today onwards, that load of my CCA programmes will be off my back. Whew!!! I can breathe easily now. But firstly....let me recall what happened during the camp for the past 3 days, including today.
Monday: Heritage Trail
I slept very late last night due to some last minute work which I had not done, thus I only had 3 hours of sleep. I was worried the whole morning since I woke up as the weather did not look right, cloudy. I kept checking and checking the weather hotline non-stop....... At school, it started off a bit wild as the attendance of the cadets went a bit wrong, the team names were not supposed to have any other names in front of it (e.g. Bears, not Bedok Bears). It was a good thing the problem was solved quickly, without Mr Teng knowing anything.
At the Esplanade starting line, I got a little lecture from Mr Teng for bringing along too many logistic items along, till I had to carry them up to Fort Canning Park myself. Imagine people staring at a 15 year old boy wearing his Red Cross UIP shirt, carrying a box of logistics which included 2 bottles of H2O, a bag of Lays potato chips, a loudhailer and clipboards. I think ppl found me a little suspicious, especially the security guard at the Supreme Court while I was waiting for the traffic light to turn red. He thought I was planning to bomb the Supreme Court, but do I look like a suspicious terrorist? Slacked at Zy SRS station just as it begin to rain. After that, I tried out a new route to the Fort Canning Park 9-pound cannon by going by the Hill St entrance, and it turn out to be a lot shorter than going via the River Valley entrance.
Up at the hill, I accompanied Jeslyn and Annabelle for nearly 3 hours to wait for the first team to arrive at the station before I set up the finish line at a shelter called the Cupolas. While waiting, the 3 of us just stoned and stared at one another, trying to do something. In the end, Annabelle played a small 'game' made up by herself, something similar to 'Dont Forget The Lyrics', where she has to continue the next verse of the song, both English and Chinese songs.
At the finish line, I was very shocked that the time difference between the 1st team and last team was about 3 hours. The first team to arrived was the Lions, led by senior Liyana. Four teams, which includes the Wolves, Sharks, Tigers and Elephants, all came at the same time, thanks to some miscommunication between Zy and me. I was actually a bit upset with Zy over this as it affected the four teams position in the heritage trail, and that he did not seek my instructions. However, we are still good friends despite this incident, NOT enemies. I was thankful that it did not rain at all, but slight small drizzle. Overall, I was happy with the heritage trail I had planned myself, plus all the other exco in their various station places roles. To my surprise, the Sec 4 seniors told me that I have done a great job. Thank you, seniors!!
However, my spirits were kind of dampened during debrief in school thanks to the lecture by Mr Teng. Though I may have or may have not done a good job, I am just thankful that nothing serious went wrong today, no serious accidents, nobody got lost, everyone is safe, mission accomplished.
Tuesday: UC part 1
Only had 4 hours of sleep the previous night...was so dead tired in the morning when I went to school. The camp started off with the telematch of evac, first aid and OA between the 8 grps. Halfway, I went back home to grab the list of cadets who passed the TTD accrediation and also took the chance to settle something else. I forgot to bring my slippers to camp even though I went back home for a while. Grrrrr!!!!!! I had to walk barefooted around the school during night time when I went to shower as a result. When I went back to school, I helped Zy to mark the Sec 1 cadets who were able to get promoted and did some other admin stuff. In total only 9 Sec 1 cadets were able to get promoted to LCP, which was disappointing as Zy put in so much effort to plan and teach.
The worst thing about the UC was the meals cooked us by the canteen vendors. I think I shall bring my own food to school next year. The Sec 3 excos found out that each student's budget for breakfast was $1, lunch and dinner was $2, and I found it very unfair to be honest. The rice was sticky and cold, the chicken was cold and hard to chew and the milo had too much powder added in it. I would rather just eat McChicken burgers for all meals.
Afternoon was tent pitching taught by NPCC...and a nasty accident happened to one of the Sec 1 cadets, who had a bruise on her forehead after one of the long poles accidentally hit her on the head. Zy, Annabelle, Mei Bing and me had a HARD time trying to find out what happened, as that girl was too shy and quiet to answer us. In the first place, I was wondering how the girl could not see the pole when she was walking in the opposite direction. Someone also irritated me during the tent pitching, but I shall not elaborate who and what.
Telematch....Shi Yu and I were the station I/Cs for 'Flour Fishing', and I should admit that the activity was interesting but a bit disgusting. Cadets had to find items using their legs while being blindfolded..which was kind of tough as they had to take off their socks and shoes and go barefooted. Many cadets were scared of the 'flour water' and the items they had to find.
Nightwalk......I was alone with Jay and Gabirel at a classroom scaring the other cadets with the nasty horror music, and making them search a piece of paper to sign their name. Most of the cadets were scared, till I made a few of them cry....making me feel guilty of myself as the culprit. One of the Sec 2 cadets whom I scared earlier during the evening was scared throughout the whole nightwalk till she cried loudly at the last station. I felt super guilty as a result. But thanks to some cuddling by Aaron, she stopped crying and calmed down soon after, which made everyone go 'Aaron arh......' Annabelle also got scared during the nightwalk till she had hyperventilation I think, she could not control her fear and started crying as well, needing teachers to accompany her. The Sec 4 seniors were helpful and responsible in accompanying their own groups.
Animal Call......nothing much to talk about this. I just had fun disturbing all the cadets while they were finding their own groups, till some ended up in some deserted area.
After Lights Out at 11.15pm, I went to take a quick bath (barefooted walking from 4th floor to 1st floor) before all exco had briefing with Mr Teng regarding today's activities. He admitted that this year camp was better than last year camp..and he was surprised to see the Sec 1 cadets being active during the camp for the first time. The bad news for us was that only a few of us will be getting promoted. Meeting ended around 12.30am in the morning..
Wednesday: UC Part 2
.....then went back to bunk and kept talking about the cadets between the Sec 3 boys. We decided to have a new twist in the camp for the best camper award. Around 1am, we dispersed and went to do our own stuff. Some of them went to the field see shooting stars, some went to sleep and some went to find other friends. I stoned at the staircase between the boys and girls bunks, Miss Shang and a few others got a shock as they thought I went bonkers or something, but I wasn't. I think I should had gone to the field with some of the boys as maybe.....
I totally forgot to do night patrol at 3am in the morning. I just did for a while and then went to sleep, I was too sleepy. Everyone woke up at 6am for morning PT, many zombies going about here and there.
Breakfast....drank 6 cups of milo as I did not like the bread, it looked very disgusting.
Improvised stretcher was next...better not talk about it.
I loved Promotion Parade best during the camp. When I knew I was getting promoted to Staff Sergeant, my morale immediately shot up high. I was totally surprised, and was glad that Mr Teng chose me to be one of the few to get their Staff Sergeant rank first. To me, I believed that I myself deserves to get the rank first as I have put in a lot of effort in the heritage trail which I have planned and so on and forth. I finally got my hands on the RCK Gold badge as well for the first time. It was sad to see the Sec 4 seniors leave us so early. They were a great help to everyone during the camp, especially during platoon time.
During debrief for camp, I had a hard time asking exco ppl to tell me their nominations for best camper award. Almost everyone had an equal chance of getting the best camper award. A lot of cadets finally showed us their hidden potential leadership in GDLSS RCY, especially those quiet ones. As predicted, the Lions were the overall champions for the UC, followed by the Rhinos, and then the Bears. The prize presentation time was a bit messy due to the fact that Mr Teng forgot to print out the certificates for the best campers of each level. After everything, the whole unit took a group photo together, with the help of Mrs Chia.
Overall for these 3 days, I certainly had a fun time at the camp getting to be the leader organising the heritage trail. I learnt how it feels like to be a leader in charge and that nothing is always easy in organising events. I would like to thank Mr Teng, Madam Cheong, Miss Shang for believing in me in planning the heritage trail and giving me the rank of Staff Sergeant, Khairul and Mrs Chia for helping to take photos, my dearest Sec 3 exco members for their wonderful job during the 3 days in helping out and being in charge of the various activities, the Sec 1 and 2 cadets for participating in the heritage trail, the Sec 4 seniors for taking care of the cadets during the heritage trail and last but not least, the canteen vendors who made our meals, even though the food may taste bad overall.
I just got back from doing recces for the EOY RCY unit camp and the heritage trail. My feet has gone wobbly and weak after all that tiring walking with my fellow CCA mates.
Morning, the last person to reach City Hall MRT station had to treat everyone ice cream as a punishment. Jeslyn kana the punishment, but everyone let her off in the end. The exco people who were present and went were Zhi Yuan,, Nigel, Aaron, Jeslyn, Yani, Nisryna, Mei Bing, Ying Fen, Shu Yi, Jun Wen and me. Everyone started out by 'recceing' the heritage trail route for all the places. The fun part was at Fort Canning Park where everyone had to come up the slope Zhi Yuanand I encountered the other time. Everyone was like 'Elias arh!!!'..... After the tiring walking and hiking, everyone slack at the Singapore National Museum. Moments later, some of us left....
The rest of us travelled down to Vivo City for exco meeting. We 'camped' ourselves just beside Coffee Bean and discuss about the upcoming unit camp. Everyone was shocked and surprised when Zhi Yuan annouced that Fencing CCA will be joining us for 'all meals and the night walk during the camp'. Even though some of my good friends are in Fencing CCA, I was quite upset with this arrangement as it made the RCY unit camp as a 'RCY-Fencing Unit Camp' programme. What upsets me even more was that the teachers actually chose to do this so as to go spend within the 'budget', reminding me of trade discount for POA. Trade discount enocourages purchases in bulk, and that is what the two teachers are trying to do exactly. I feel that this should not be the way for RCY unit camp, it is totally different from last year's unit camp.
After the long long discussion at Vivo City, the remaining 8 of us went to recce the Mt Faber hike. Before that, a few of us went to grab an ice-cream. The Mt Faber hike was tiring. There were many steep steps up the hill. From Mt Faber, we trek on to Marang Trail, to Henderson Waves and then on to Canopy Walk. Annnabelle became scared at the Henderson Waves and Canopy Walk, as it looks a bit scary when you look down below. Along Canopy Walk, it is made of pavements made up of metal railings and pavements. It looks as though you are walking on thin air if you look below. Zhi Yuan, Jeslyn and I accompanied Annabelle along, to 'protect her'. I should say, the view and sceneries from above looks beautiful, with the view of Harbourfront and the city. I took many photos....
At the end of the Canopy Walk, Yani, Ying Fen, Shu Yi and Jun Wen left, leaving only four of us, or should I say, the 4 survivors of the recce, Jeslyn, Zhi Yuan, Annabelle and me. We continued the recce until Kent Ridge Park, where it started to rain heavily. Among the 4 of us, only Jeslyn and Zhi Yuan brought along an umbrella. They were shocked that I did not bring along an umbrella, as I purposely smsed them early in the morning to bring along an umbrella. Thus, we got soaked wet from head to toe while walking and finding a way out of the place back home. Our spectacles were filled with condensed air, making our view misty. In the end, we managed to take bus 200 along a deserted road to Pasir Panjang, and changed to bus 30. The waiting time for bus 200 was super long. Before we took bus 30, we had to cross the road, with the heavy rain. When we were crossing, a lightning suddenly strike with a flash of white light. Annabelle and Jeslyn started screaming, causing all of us to run to the bus stop opposite without any umbrella. We were laughing at each other at the bus stop shelter for panicking just because of a white flash of lightning. The whole bus 30 passengers were staring at us...wet all over ourselves from head to toe.
We managed to find our way back home after that, bearing the cold train journey back home. I shall never forget this wonderful experience I had today.

Bad Day
Hello!!
My school report book results are back, and one word to describe it......DISAPPOINTING. Yes it is disappoitning because the results were unexpected, and I think I am one of the few who did badly. At least I did not get retained and had to go for the supplementary exam!!! My classmates were shocked and surprised with my results when I told them. Ying Jie and Eugene once again were the only ones who encouraged me to do better among the whole class. Miss Khong was disappointed with my results, she told me to work harder for next year.
From this final end year examination results, I learnt my lesson on choosing and making the right choice for my revision. Thus, I am now starting my intensive revision for next year. I must make sure that I am prepared, just like what Aston Villa motto is....Prepared

Exam Results
Bonjour!!!
Recalling today, I am making a decision on whether I should lock up my blog for myself only or to not lock it up. That is because I feel like posting things which concerns CERTAIN people.
When I got back my exam results today, I felt like crying. Among my friends, only Eugene and Ying Jie cheered me up when they saw my sad expression. I do not want to post any of my exam results. I need to do some reflections on my results.
After school, I went to PP to buy bubble tea for myself, and slack at a bench of a HDB block near school. I just relaxed, and did nothing but drank the Ice Blended Mango which I bought from PP, and reflected on my exam results. When I came back to school, I found out that the SLs and SCs going to Malaysia had a luxurious ride on a double-deck coach.
I was quite happy and proud of the Sec 2 cadets present and the Sec 3 exco members for the hard effort in training today. Everyone was like at their best, practising hard for the upcoming Sec 1 GEPP in school.
After CCA, Aaron, Nigel and Zhi Yuan were so nice to accompany me back home, even though they were going back to Sengkang, separate ways from me. The 3 of them were one of the few friends who made my day in school today, unlike some people.
Gtg sleep....good night!!

Chemistry and Fun
Hi...again! Today's post is for Tuesday 20/10/2009, not 21/10/2009
I think today's Chemistry exam paper was overall okay, there were two experiment question which I studied and went through, and it came out, and it made me so delighted when I saw that question. My friends were like comparing answers after school, and I found out that I actually chose to do a difficult question for Section B of the paper, where students must choose only two out of the three questions given.
Afternoon, went to Kovan to meet a group of friends for LAN and fun, and I was late. On the way, I bumped into Jacob, who was also late as well. Hahas..... When we got there, we made our way to Kovan CC, where the rest was playing pool. The whole group of us include Eugene, Vincent, Ryan, Sebastian, Joanne.C, Kai Leng, Jacob, Clement, J.C, Peter and me. Clement came later than the rest. We messed about the place, and I did not realise that Kovan CC had this corner for the youths. There were quite a number of facilities, and there was a PS3 for all youths to play. After a few hours, we headed down to a LAN center near the 'famous' Nasi Lemak stall. I think I did not really like the place. Everyone had to give information of themselves before they can use the computer, so some of us just randomly spam some random false names and addresses which the manager really believed, and it was funny.
Shall end here, Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 2 is finally here...and Carrie Underwood newest album is coming out soon.....so excited!!!
